Bindi Babe

Last Sunday was a very special day, it was my mums best friends wedding. But this was no ordinary wedding, it was a beautiful afternoon and evening at Claridges but the best part was it was a totally blingtastic Nepalese wedding! This meant going totally out, full length sparkle dress - my mum even wore a sari! I didn't feel I could totally rock a sari, but I did find the most beautiful dress from Needle and Thread. I've lusted over Needle and Thread dresses for years now, they're beautiful hand embellished dresses that always look totally stunning.

The Dress

I completely love this dress, being teeny tiny I had to get it shortened to fit me but I felt like a complete princess all night. I love everything from the colour to the detail and I'm racking my brain for an excuse to bring this beauty out again.

The Shoes
Such a big fan of KG! Kurt Geiger is definitely my go to shop but I'm looking for a special occasion shoe. And yet again, they did not disappoint! These shoes went perfectly with the dress, but I know they're going to look great in the summer time as well. Can't say they were the most comfortable but I looked great.. sitting down..!
And here's the full look! Didn't manage to get a full length shot. Make up was done by the Charlotte Tilbury counter in Selfridges (Ohmygod, don't even get me started on Charlotte Tilbury make up..!) and had my hair down with volume, clearly my hair was having none of this volume business and proceeded to flatten after 2.5 seconds of having it done.
Oh, and the best part?! Bindis! How did I not know how cool these were before! Bindis are the way forward and I'm already heard of some at Selfridges - it's cool to wear bindis to gross clubs in Manchester when you're white, right?!

Novelty Bags

Novelty bags - aaaaaaahh. I love them. Since Moschino brought out their McDonald's inspired bag I have been seriously obsessed with novelty bags. Sadly, Moschino is not an option for me right now but that has not stopped me from moving onto cheaper and quirkier designs!
Seriously, drooling. Lets all just take a moment and appreciate...
So, onto more affordable designs I have been loving and the sneaky purchases I've made. Novelty bags can not be discussed with mentioning the holy grail of novelty bags - Skinny Dip. From sea shells, to unicorn tears to just plain sassy they OWN the novelty bag game and I'm loving every design. However, the one that really caught my eye was this gold bee clutch. See through?! Gold?! BEES?! I adore it, despite it being quite heavy to hold. I'll adapt. At £45 it is quite expensive, but look at it! I know I'll be using this clutch loads and it is totally worth the splash, and I will keep telling myself that.
Moving onto the cheaper end of the scale - ASOS. I have no idea what drew me to this bag but it was instant love. I'm definitely a massive fan of holographic at the moment, but this robot bag just looked so cute! £20, it's a steal! Haven't taken this bag for a whirl yet but very excited to take him out! I think all that's left is naming him :)

Triangl Swimwear - ERMYGWAD

Post from: Sunday, 27 July 2014

Only feels right to dedicate my first offical post on my blog to Triangl swimwear. Oh. My. God. Where do I even start? Seeing as I am jetting off on holiday in one week (ek!) I have been on a bikini body mission to achieve a smokin' hot bod for the beach. Safe to say that hasn't been totally achieved, so the next best thing has to be strutting around in one of these little beauties?

Urgh, I can't even cope with how much I am totally in love with everything this company sells. The only downfall is that they are rather on the pricey side - $100 including shipping. Unfortunatly, considering I am unemployed at the moment I just can't justify spending that much on one bikini (boo) and despite the begging and pleading the boyf hasn't taken the hint either (double boo). But that DOES NOT stop be obsessing. My favourite style is the Milly in either Candy Pink or Arizona Sunset.

Despite these bikini's just generally looking amazing, have I mentioned they are made from 100% neoprene material, basically meaning these are made of wetsuit material. This means that they are gong to suck and squeeze every lump and bump you have and are just the most flattering bikini you could own.

So, to sum up I don't think I will be flaunting my Triangl bikini around on the sunny beaches of Cyprus next week, as the only way I will be spending $100 on a bikini is if it comes with that model worthy bod aswell. I can not be held responsbile for my action for next summer though!

#1

Finally biting the bullet and starting up my own fashion-y blog of my own. Over the past year I have been on a placement year at different fashion and PR companies, and finally feel like I may have something of slight interest to put on the internet (hopefully). So enjoy my mish-mash of things I'm loving, things I've purchased myself (I have an addiction and we will just leave it at that) and hopefully a few fancy-smancy fashion events I'm lucky enough to attend.

ps. this blog did start on another home but I forgot my e-mail address and password (whoops) so I've moved previous post over here.
